Celebrate Black History Month 2026 in Kenya!
A Tour of Culture, Connection & Discovery -February 2026 - 12 Nights, 13 Days
Hey there! I’m excited to invite you on a fantastic getaway trip to Kenya during Black History Month in 2026.
I’m Mike Wanguhu, and a little over 15 years ago, my production team had the fantastic opportunity to bring Mutulu "M-1" Olugbala, one-half of the politically-conscious rap duo Dead Prez, and Umi of P.O.W., on a tour to East Africa - Nairobi, Arusha, and Dar es Salaam for a series of concerts and the production of our documentary film titled Ni Wakati (feel free to check it out!). Seeing how deeply they were touched by their experiences and the journey to reconnect with the Motherland had a profound impact on me. Ever since, I’ve dreamed of sharing that transformative experience with my brothers and sisters from the diaspora. And now, it feels like the perfect time, or as we say in Swahili, Ni Wakati. Let’s come together and bridge that gap!
In February 2026, during Black History Month, I’m thrilled to make that dream come true! My partners at CAT Safaris and I have put together an incredible tour package that highlights the best of Kenya...the perfect sample, if you will. Over 12 nights and 13 days, you’ll have the opportunity to explore some amazing sights while embarking on a journey that will inspire, uplift, and reconnect you with your roots. I invite you to join us. Let’s celebrate culture, history, and community together.
I can’t wait to take this adventure together!
