What if you celebrated Black History Month… in Kenya?
A Tour of Culture, Connection & Discovery
- February 15 - 27, 2026, February 2026.
I'm excited to invite you on a fantastic getaway trip to Kenya in February 2026.
Hi, I am Michael Wanguhu, and a little over 15 years ago, my production team and I had the amazing opportunity to bring some of my favorite artists to experience Kenya. We took M-1, one-half of the iconic rap duo Dead Prez, and Umi of P.O.W. on a tour in East Africa for a series of concerts in Nairobi, Arusha, and Dar es Salaam. This experience led to the production of Ni Wakati, (feel free to check it out!), a documentary film about bridging the Gap between Africans and African Americans, and dispelling misconceptions about all of us.
Seeing how deeply M1 and Umi were touched by their experience had a profound impact on me. Ever since, I've dreamed of sharing that transformative experience with my brothers and sisters from the diaspora. And now, it feels like the perfect time, or as we say in Swahili, Ni Wakati! So, come February 2026, during Black History Month, I'm thrilled to finally make that dream come true!
My partners at CAT Safaris and I have put together an incredible tour package that highlights the best of Kenya - the perfect sample, if you will. For 12 nights and 13 days, you'll have the opportunity to explore some inspiring sights. Each destination brings something unique: from the vibrant city life of Nairobi to the wildlife on safari in Samburu, and all the way to the silky sands of Diani Beach. This is an opportunity you don't want to miss.
Join us on Ni Wakati Safari guided tour to help you see Kenya differently - not just as a postcard travel destination, but as a place with rich culture and growing opportunities. So why wait? Book your spot today!!

For years, I've told Kenya's story through my work. Now, I want you to experience it, meet the people, feel the rhythm, and discover all that Kenya has to offer.
